Designed by Großmann, the BII was developed from the
BI. It was in service as an unarmed reconnaisance
aircraft up to 1915, when faster and better protected
aircraft took over it's role. Later they were used as
basic trainers.

The Albatros CI was one of the typical reconnaisance
aircraft from mid WWI, which were in use to gather
information about the frontline from the air. These
aircraft were quite large, slow and bad armed.

the LUSAC 11 in order to mak a new fighter -
reconnaissance plane available as fast as
possible. The deisgn phase lasted from
January to April 1918. LUSAC is an
abbreviation for "LePere United States Army
Combat". 3535 were produced in total.
