1949 - Sikorsky HH 19 Chickasaw, Medium transport helicopter

 

 

 

 

1954 - Sikorsky S 58 (H34) Choctaw, Midsize Helicopter

 

The S58 was one of the largest helicopter with a piston engine. It was one of the standard aircraft in its class during the 50ies and the 60ies. More than 2800 have been build, including the Westland Wessex.  

 

 

1956 - Sikorsky S 56 / CH 37 B, Transport helicopter

 

 

 

 

1960 - Sikorski S 55, Transport Helicopter

 

 

 

 

1962 - Sikorsky S 64 Skycrane, Heavy Transport Helicopter for external cargo

 

 

 

 

1964 - Sikorsky CH 53 Sea Stallion (Jolly Green Giant), Heavy Transport Helicopter

 

The CH53 was developed for use in the US Marine Corps. A singlke CH53 can transport a half company. The CH53 is in use in various countries. Its duties are transport, minesweeping and search- and rescue jobs.

Sikorsky S 76, Medium Helicopter

 

 

 

 

1978 - Sikorsky SH 60 Sea Hawk, Naval based anti-submarine helicopter

 

 

 

 

1988 - Sikorsky S70A (UH 60 L ) Blackhawk, Tactical Transport Helicopter
