1958 - PZL Bielsko / SZD 22 C Mucha Standard, Unpowered Glider

 

The SZD 22 Mucha (fly) was designed with the world- championships 1958 in mind. The Muche was first in its class , the standard class. Until 1962, 286 were build and used througout europe.  

 

 

1958 - PZL Bielsko / SZD 24 Foka, Soaring glider

 

The Foka was a high-performance glider, designed by Okarmus and Mlynarski with the world-championships in mind. In fact, a prototype made it to the 3rd place. From 1961 to 1968 some 197 were build.  

 

 

1960 - PZL Bielsko / SZD 25 A Lis, Soaring glider

 

The Lis is developed from the SZD 22 Mucha Standard and the SZD 16 Gil. Some 30 were build.  

 

 

1964 - PZL Bielsko / SZD 21 Kobusz, Unpowered Glider

 

Developed between 1958 and 1964, than manufactured in Wroclaw. The fuselage was made from fiber-reinfor- ced polyester, the wings were made in the traditional way, wood and a plywood planking.
