Designed in 1960 by the Siebelwerke, which became
part of MBB. In 1967 the Flamingo was turned into an
aerobatics trainer. Later, in 1986 the Flamingo was
used as a testbed for the new developed Porsche
aviation engine.

Light Multi-Purpose Helicopter

The BK 117 is a joint venture from Kawasaki and MBB,
the combination of the design projects Bo 107 and
the KH7. It is used mainly for rescue and police
roles.
