DeHavilland Canada DHC 1 Chipmunk,
Basic Trainer

The Chipmunk was a very famous trainer. Nearly 1300
were build and in use in more than 25 countries all
over the world. In 1996 a flight of Chipmunks made
a memorial flight from London to Moscow and back.

DeHavilland Canada DHC 3 Otter,
Light transport
|
|
The Otter was designed as a rough bush plane in the
years after the war. Between 1954 and 1967 some
1657 were produced.

DeHavilland Canada DHC 2 Beaver,
Bush Airplane
|
|
The Beaver is designed for the use in the hard
backlands of Canada. A rugged and powerful aircraft,
that can be fitted to a floatplane too.

STOL Transport aircraft

DeHavilland Canada DHC 6 Twin Otter,
Commuter aircraft
|

The twin Otter is in service as a transport and
passenger-airliner, in various military roles and as
a fire fighter. It has some STOL capabilites and is
therefore used by "bush pilots", for example in latin
america.

tactical STOL transport aircraft and midrange airliner
