1916 - Breguet XIV a, Bomber

 

This type was the best french bomber and reconnais- sance aircraft during the WW I. It replaced the older Farman and Caudron types. The Breguet 14 was in use long after the war. Until 1926 more than 8000 were build.  

 

 

1920 - Breguet XIV T, Long range record breaking aircraft

 

 

 

 

1929 - Breguet XIX, Combat aircraft

 

 

 

 

1946 - Breguet 111 Gyroplane, Helicopter

 

 

 

 

1950 - Breguet br 940 Vultur, Navy attack plane

 

The Vultur is a typical airfßcraft from the transition phase from propeller- to jet driven aircraft. It's main propulsion was a turpoprop system, but a Nene jet engine could be used on request. The Vultur was not build in quantities, but it was the predecessor to the Alizé carrier plane.  

 

 

1954 - Breguet 901, High performance glider

 

High performance glider which held a number of french gliding records and some championships, two world championships (1954: Gérard Pierre, F ; 1956: Paul MacCready, USA)  

 

 

1956 - Breguet Br 1050 Alizé, Carrier Based AntiSub Airplane

 

The Alizé is a dedicated carrier based anti sub aricraft, similar to the british Fairey Gannet. From 1958 to 1961 92 were build.  

 

 

1960 - Breguet 906, Soaring plane

 

 

 

 

1961 - Breguet Br 1150 Atlantique, Long range sea patrol and antisubmarine warfare

 

The Atlantique is the standard sea reconnaissance aircraft and sub hunter in many NATO countries. It is fitted with antiship-missiles, ASW-weapons, sonar buoys and a magnetic anomaly detector.  

 

 

1963 - Breguet C 160 Transall, Transport

 

The Transall was build on the requirements of the french and german air forces. 175 were build in total.  

 

 

1974 - Breguet Alpha Jet, Advanced trainer and light fighter bomber

 

The Alpha Jet is a french german coproduction. It is layed out as an advanced jet trainer and light agile fighter bomber. In these roles it relieved the Fouga Magister and the FIAT G.91 Gina.
