Blackburn B 24 Skua Mk II,

The Skua was the first monowing fighter of the Royal
Navy. Some 190 were build, but as early as 1941 it
was redrawn from active duty.

Blackburn B 25 Roc,
Trainer, Target tug

|
The Roc was developed from the Skua. It should be a
carrier-based aircraft which could kill unfriendly
bombers with a broadside. It was too slow, so the
Roc became a trainer and target tug with the RN and
RAF instead.

Blackburn B 37 Firebrand,

The Firebrand was build upon request of the RN.
First it had the Napier Sabre engine, but it had
to be changes to Centaurus because of the Sabres
being used in Typhoons. 68 were build.

The Beverly was developed from the General Aircraft
GAL 60 Universal Transport, with more powerful
engines. 47 Beverlies were build and in service with
the Royal Airforce from 1956 to 1968.

1958 -
Blackburn B 103 Buccaneer,
Bomber and tactical reconnaissance aircraft.
|
|
The Buccaneer was designed as a carrier based fighter
bomber for the Royal Navy. Later it was developed to
a supersonic low level attack aircraft.
