The BAe Jetstream is a development of the Handley Page HP137 which was designed in the 60ies. Jet- streams are in use as civil commuters and short range airliners, military transports and training aircraft.

The T45 is a Hawk, modified for the US market. Some of the modifications are the arrester hook for carrier landings and changed air brakes. It is a joint venture of BAe and Boeing (McDD) St. Louis.
