The 111 was the first british aircraft with the con-
figuration, that is today typical for smaller air-
liners: Aerodynamic clean wings, engines aft and
rudders in T-configuration.

Tactical bomber and reconnaisance aircraft

Originally designed to follow the Canberra, the
TSR 2s development was delayed by problems with its
complex avionics very much. After the maiden flight
in 1964, the TSR 2 project was shut down.

British Aircraft Corp. 167 Strikemaster,
Light Ground Attack airplane
|
|
The Strikemaster is layed out as a training and light
attack airplane. 101 were produced and are on duty in
Saudi Arabia, South Jemen, Kenia, Oman, Kuweit,
Singapore, New Zealand and Ecuador.
