Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka
Manned flying bomb, Japan, 1944
[Technical Data] [Expo/Images] - [
Yokosuka]
[
Light Bombers 1939-1945]

|
|
Description: |

The Ohka was a dedicated weapon for Kamikaze attacks.
Modified bombers brought them within target range,
50mi/24000ft. Then the pilot began the rocket-driven
attack. Because of the high speed an low maneuver-
ability, targeted ships were hard to hit, so the
Ohka attacks did cause onlay few damages.
