This Wessex 60 was the 7th production unit
and the first being fitted for lang range
capabilities. It was in service with Bristow
Helicopter in off shore supply roles in the
far east until sept. 1981, when grounded. It
was shipped back and came finally in 1987 to
to Int. Heli Museum.

This is the manufacturer demonstrator of the
Lynx AH Mk I, the transport helicopter
version of the Lynx for the royal Army. On
11-8-1996 this Lynx achieved the world speed
record for helicopters with 400.87 km/h. In
1991 it was modified for further tests. From
mid 1992 it was not flown any more. It came
to the museum in January, 1996.

This ist a prototype of the WG13, the
immediate predecessor of the Westland Lynx
Helicopter. This is the only compete airframe
of the WG13. It was built from 1970 to 1974
and then used for flight testing. After a
year it suffered structual damage, was
repaired but lateron used only for
educational duties on the ground. In January,
1996 it came to the Int. Heli Museum.

This is the prototype of the Lynx 3, an
initiative of Westland to demonstrate that
the aged Lynx helicopter can be brought to
actual standards. It flew from 1984 until
10-03-1987. In August 1988 it was transferred
to the Int Heli Museum.
