Manning Flanders

This is not really a replica, but a proof, that a very early design was airworthy. Well. When the plans have been drawn, this aicraft has never been build. But 80 years later, somebody tried and it really flew. If the designer had realized his plans, he would have become one of the most famous aviation pioneers. But he didn't and so his name is hardly remebered.
